Collective Futures presents:
Where Science meets Society
May 12th, 11:30 - 15:00 | Main Hall, Amsterdam Science Park
Bridging the gap between theory and practice is crucial for tackling today’s complex challenges. Issues with equality, sustainability, mental health and resilience don't get solved in lecture halls alone. They require collaboration across disciplines, across sectors, and across the boundaries between university and society.
Join our event and learn how science and society can work together to shape a better future. Please RSVP below.
What to expect
Collaborative approach — Learn how we bring together students from different disciplines to work with partner organisations on real challenges — and why that approach matters.
Student poster presentations — This year's students are working on increasing social equality in the energy transition and on valuing the social and ecological impact of social catering cooperatives. Hear directly from them what it is like to work on these challenges.
Meet the program: Talk to students and supervisors to get a better idea of Collective Futures, application details, and whether the 30EC minor or 18EC elective suits you best.
